If you’re looking for a place to take your pup while “working from home,” these Northern Virginia coffee shops have strong wi-fi with dog-friendly patios!
Detour Coffee is nestled in the heart of the Clarendon neighborhood, across from other great spots like North Side Social and just a 10-minute walk to the Clarendon Dog Park! The patio space is covered in astroturf, so it looks super cute and the pups love it.
We LOVE ESP Tea & Coffee because they allow dogs inside and outside (on leash). The vibes and decor in this place are unmatched, and the coffee is delicious. Definitely check it out next time you’re wandering Old Town Alexandria with your pup!
St. Elmo’s in Del Ray is a staple for our pups because the patio space is dog-friendly, and it’s right across from The Dog Store! It’s a great place to take a casual business meeting or to meet a friend for coffee.
Idido’s is the epitome of the “friendly neighborhood coffee” shop for people who live in South Arlington near Columbia Pike. All of the staff love dogs and there are water bowls near the tables outside! Also, their coffee cake is to die for.
